Survey Overview

Empsight's Small Law Department Survey, published in association with the Association of Corporate Counsel, focuses on in-house law departments with less than 10 attorneys in companies $3 Billion or less. The survey covers benchmark positions from the General Counsel to support staff, compensation, and some benefits and departmental practices. 

The survey is available in two editions.  The full edition reports on 15 positions and is designed for small law departments with 2 or more attorneys.   The Single Lawyer Environment Edition reports on The General Counsel (Single Lawyer) and 4 non-attorney positions.
